Australia Announces New Visa Application Fee Hikes from 1 July 2025

The fee hikes apply for the 2025–2026 financial year and affect both permanent and temporary visa subclasses. The largest jumps are seen in student visa fees, partner visas, and the National Innovation Visa, with moderate increases across skilled and employer-sponsored streams.

These changes will impact both new applicants and those planning to lodge appeals, as tribunal application fees have also gone up. The new rates apply to main applicants, with currency in Australian dollars.
