Engineers Australia migration-skills assessment fees for 2025-26

From 1 July 2025, Engineers Australia (EA) updated every stream of its Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) pricing. The schedule now covers three qualification pathways—International Accords, Australian-accredited degrees and Competency Demonstration Reports (CDR)—plus a menu of add-on and fast-track services. The headline change is a standard qualification assessment now starts at A$305 (ex-GST) for an Australian engineering degree and A$490 (ex-GST) for a Washington/Sydney/Dublin Accord degree, while a full CDR package that also verifies skilled employment and an overseas PhD can reach A$1 575 (ex-GST). All fees below are for one main applicant and are valid for the 2025-26 financial year.

3. What do the changes mean?

• Budget earlier: Small increases across most items, especially for packages that bundle skilled-employment checks or PhD verification.

• Bundle strategically: Combining services (e.g., qualification + employment + PhD) is cheaper than ordering each step later.

• Consider fast-track carefully: The A$350 surcharge only guarantees quicker allocation to an assessor; total processing time still depends on the completeness of your evidence.
