Express Entry Heats Up: June’s Six Draws Set Summer Pace for 2025

June was the busiest month for Invitations to Apply (ITAs) since March. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) ran six Express Entry draws—two more than in May—and issued 7,405 ITAs, out-pacing April and May combined.

Interpretation:

A score above 500 now places you in roughly the top 9 % of the pool.
Landing between 461–480 puts you around the 70-80th percentile—competitive for general draws, but not a guarantee.
Candidates below 441 sit in the lower half and will likely need a provincial nomination, a job offer, or a targeted occupation draw to receive an ITA.
