IRCC Extends Invitations to 1,325 Candidates in Latest All-Program Express Entry Draw.

Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently conducted a significant Express Entry draw, extending invitations to 1,325 candidates to apply for permanent residency in Canada.
This all-program draw required candidates to attain a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 542 to be eligible for an Invitation to Apply (ITA). The draw signifies IRCC's ongoing commitment to welcoming skilled immigrants from diverse backgrounds to contribute to Canada's economic growth and development.
This recent draw follows a series of targeted selections earlier in December. On December 8th, IRCC invited 5,900 candidates with a minimum CRS of 481 in a category-based selection aimed at professionals in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) occupations.
Additionally, on December 7th, a draw specifically targeting candidates proficient in the French language invited 1,000 individuals from the Express Entry pool, requiring a minimum CRS of 470.
The all-program draw on December 6th, with a minimum CRS of 561, marked the first draw in over a month. The preceding draw occurred on October 26th, focusing on candidates in healthcare occupations through a category-based selection.
Despite the anticipation for frequent draws, IRCC faced challenges, notably an IT issue affecting candidates who had received ITAs and were attempting to upload their final application using the Express Entry profile builder. The department acknowledged this issue via Twitter on November 14th, indicating a setback in the processing of final applications. Although the glitch was rectified on November 16th, resumption of draws was delayed, causing speculation within the immigration community.
Numerous factors can contribute to the delay of Express Entry draws, including adherence to Immigration Levels Plan targets, technological complications, administrative adjustments, or updates to the Comprehensive Ranking System.
