Manitoba’s latest Expression of Interest (EOI) round shows that the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) continues to prioritise talent trained inside the province and workers who can fill immediate labour gaps. On 10 July 2025 the program issued 67 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) across two key pathways: the International Education Stream (IES) and the Skilled Worker Stream (SWS).

What Happens After Receiving an LAA?

  1. Submit complete application to MPNP within 60 days, including proof of settlement funds and educational credentials.

  2. Receive provincial nomination (adds 600 CRS points if you’re in Express Entry).

  3. Apply for permanent residence with IRCC, usually receiving a PR decision within 8–12 months.
