Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) – employer-driven streams: summary

Most provinces run PNP streams where a permanent, full-time job offer from a local employer is the core of the application. The province nominates the worker, who then applies to IRCC for permanent residence. Each province sets its own rules and has a limited number of nominations each year, so streams open, close and change often.

The process in brief: Employer registers and gets the job approved → Candidate registers or applies → Invitation and provincial application → Province issues a nomination → Apply to IRCC for permanent residence → Permanent residence granted.
